What Type of Waste Do I Have?

We accept general household waste, builders waste, green waste, clean rubble, and clean fill. We cannot accept hazardous materials, asbestos, liquids, or tyres (unless booked as an add-on). If you're unsure, give us a call.

What's the Difference between Light & Heavy Waste?

Heavy waste includes bricks, concrete, tiles, soil, and rocks — these weigh about a tonne per cubic metre. Light waste is household items, furniture, packaging, and garden waste at around 150 kg per cubic metre. Mixing them results in heavy waste pricing.

Bathroom renovations typically produce a mix of light and heavy waste — tiles, concrete, plasterboard, timber, fixtures, and fittings. A 3m³ or 4m³ bin usually covers a standard bathroom renovation. If you have a lot of tiles or concrete, consider a heavy bin.
